Outfit 2. Cropped Jacket | Shirt | Belt | Pants | Pumps
Brights + Patterns
They key to wearing brights is ensuring that the pairing is grounding to keep things profesh in the workplace. Here we were able to incorporate a fun print in our grounding color of navy. Adding in the classic lines of a tailored blazer, simple pumps and a longer (but on trend!) hemline ensures things stay prim!
Mixing Prints
The key here is to pick prints in similar color schemes so the eye is not instantly drawn to an overtly flashy element of your outfit. Start simple with cremes, beiges and black with a pop of color in the shoe. Keeping the shoe structure basic allows you to take a fun fashion risk. Pairing the cropped trouser with high waisted trousers = two trends that can be reworked for nights out with friends as easy to style separates.
Colorblocking
Corporate colorblocking can be done. You just need to remember to keep your color palette muted. A well fitting trouser and blazer mimics a suit structure, but allow yourself to add a splash of color in the middle. The law world will forever be changed!

All three look like they would look great on you!
I absolutely adore outfit number 1.
Collections
I also work in a really conservative office, and these outfits are amazing, and so work for me! I love all three! And super love this post :)
these are such great ideas - sending to my lawyer gal-pal asap :)
I love outfit #2: cute top with a splash of leopard and a pop of red?!
Love this post! As someone who works in finance, another extremely conservative industry, I love finding new ways to wear things I actually like at work. And no, I don't like a black suit with a white undershirt. I've also found that you can get away with one "pop". For example, I'll keep the shape conservative and go for a bright color or fun pattern. Great advice! Especially loving outfit one and three.
Love this post, these outfits are so stylish yet work appropriate. I especially love the color blocking and the midi bright pencil skirt. It's got a lovely drape to it!
2 & 3 became my favorites
loved them
I absolutely love the second outfit! The top is oh so sweet, and I love the contrast with the sassy leopard print belt and red shoes :)
