This past weekend my parents were in town to drop off my birthday present (a new Louis style chair!) and spend some time with my sister and us given we wouldn’t be heading home for Thanksgiving. So what was supposed to be a leisurely visit turned into a whirlwind touristy jaunt around the city. Think Grand Central Station, Bryant Park + the library, Shake Shack (obvi), Lincoln Center, the Highline, and finally a cozy dinner at corsino in the West Village.
You can imagine that even though the sun was shining, the bite in the air was more than my poor little feet could handle after 9 or so hours outside. (Yes mom, you were right.) Not that you’ll ever see me sporting sneakers (unless it involves exercise) but it’s probably time to figure out my boot situation sooner rather than later because ballet flats are not winter’s best friend.
