unexpected visits

In case you haven't heard, the east coast had an earthquake yesterday. I know I know, I'm quite the bit of breaking news over here - but definitely an unexpected visitor for many of us and luckily only a little taste of what the west coast experiences in large capacities.

Speaking of unexpected visitors, I came home from a late dinner with friends to the news that we had a "Mickey" in our apartment. Never having experienced this in any of my time in NYC, it was quite a moment of hilarity as my husband and I attempted to rectify the situation. Needless to say, I had a rather stimulating day and a completely sleepless night.

But here's to my Tarzan Jane ensemble and my first dance with skinny pants in several months!
