When I told people I was going away on "vacation" to visit my parents, most laughed and sarcastically wished us a fabulous time. While spending a few days with family may be torture for some, I am finding it to be a nice reprieve from my hectic workload and constant pace of city life. It's not so bad, being the center of attention to two very eager parents.So on Saturday we had the whole family over my parents house for a little suburban BBQ. Of course I was overdressed in heels and oversized vest, but I quite like this suburban safari ensemble I whipped up from the contents of my suitcase.
In other news, I think it's time for a haircut...

Thanks Nikkia! As far as lipstick shades are concerned - most of them are Sephora brand!! (Believe it or not) My favs this summer were Love Test 11 (bright pink), The Red 4 (classic red) and It Girl 6 (coral tangerine). I also love NARS Schiap and Dior Perfecto.
