scandals + satchels

I'm not one to wear things that are too short/too tight/too scandalous...well, on purpose. However, after looking back on these pictures from a weekend dinner date I'm beginning to think this dress (okay tunic) has scandal written all over it. So just bare with me as I show a little more leg than is comfortable on this blog, I promise tomorrow we will be back to regularly scheduled slouchy pants and blousy shirts.

Scandals aside, let's talk about this satchel. I'm all about investing in a designer handbag here and there but there is a limit to my madness. Enter this beauty, compliments of Handbag Heaven. Never sure what to expect with more affordable handbags, I was floored when this satchel appeared on my doorstep. Structured, roomy and FULL of pockets - an oversized handbagers dream! I've been carrying it all weekend and have gotten so many compliments. It looks so luxe and it's fun to punch up with a printed scarf for added pizazz.
